On Wednesday we arrived back from France. We spent a week walking the first part of the Robert Louis Stevenson track (or the GR-70) as it's known by on the maps. We started off by spending a couple of days in Paris, staying at the Marriott Courtyard near the Gare de Lyon station. We had a fantastic view over Paris - including the Eiffal Tower!
Walk to Rottingdean
This afternoon we watched along the Under Cliff walk to Rottingdean. It's a walk we've done many times in the past. The tide was fully in, so the waves were crashing over the path in places.
Along the Canal
Today we walked along the canal in London from Angel to Camden. We didn’t actually make it to Camden as they have blocked off the towpath just before Camden Town as they are building residential apartments along there. It was a lovely day (for winter). 10C and reasonably sunny.
A walk along the coast
Helen and I did a lovely walk along the coast from Brighton to Rottingdean along the cliff walk. We do this walk quite regularly, because it's a fairly easy one from our place in Brighton. Today was such a mild day for winter! 11 degrees and partially sunny.
